Hunter Room:  This room with a cathedral ceiling, has lodge pole furniture and a King-sized bed with featherbed topper. The room is decorated in plaids for an elegantly rustic effect. A leather couch, leather recliner, and table and chairs for two complete this room. The bathroom and shower have been designed with our handicapped guests in mind, and of course work equally well for non-handicapped guests. Our guests say our beds are the most comfortable-away-from-home beds they have experienced.

Prairie Rose Room:  A romantically decorated, intimate room with cherry furniture, a Queen-sized "pineapple" bed topped with featherbed and extra pillows for your comfort. A daybed with trundle can accommodate two additional people, and table and chairs for two complete the accommodations. This room is romantically decorated, but works well for families of 4 traveling together when the suite is just too big.

Rustic Suite: This three room suite features a main bedroom with King-sized bed, loveseat, rustic furniture, table and chairs. The middle bedroom has a credenza, and a Queen-sized wrought iron bed. The loft bedroom has a wrought iron daybed with trundle (both Twin size). All beds are topped with featherbeds, and have extra pillows for your comfort. This suite is perfect for families or friends who are traveling together and don't mind sharing one bathroom. The bathroom has a large shower and separate vanity area. This is a very comfortable and cozy suite, with cathedral ceilings and ceiling fans in sleeping areas. The suite accommodates 5-6 people comfortably. Two air-conditioning and heating units are individually-controlled. The loft has its own air conditioner.

Gail and Ron Ledesma, Innkeepers and owners, are happy to answer questions of guests who want to learn about current local activities and about the area. Printed information and brochures are also available. We love Jamesport and are very happy to share information about this beautiful and peaceful part of the heartland.
We hope our guests will share our appreciation of the family farms that dot the country-side, as this is a disappearing way of life. The Amish families who make Jamesport their home add a special ambience to this area. Their way of life gently reminds us of our roots close to nature. Hearing the clop-clop-clop of horses pulling buggies allows guests to relax and let the nurturing sights and sounds in the country sweep away other concerns.

Room Descriptions:
What our Inn guests say:

"What a find!! We were very surprised to discover these wonderful accommodations! Thank you so much for being so delightful. The room is great! We'll tell our family and friends about this super place."  Mark & Cindy T., Urbandale, IA

"Thank you for your wonderful hospitality! The accommodations are superb--we have really enjoyed these rooms and the kids are begging to stay another night! W will just have to com back and stay again, and we will definitely recommend Arbor House to all our friends in Arizona!"  Bob & Minnie L., Chandler, AZ

"The sign said, "Jamesport, Pop. 505.  Expedia and Travelocity did not know of the town; there were no hotel chains. People like me, who come from large metropolitan centers, often seem to expect their rural-dwelling cousins to be somehow missing a richness of life that can only come from the crowd. I had not expected accommodations to match what I was used to in my Internet-booked stays at large hotels . . . and my expectations were met; no hotel chain can compete with what you offer. Thank you Ron, for your hospitality and thoughtfulness; thank you for this sanctuary; and thank you for reminding me that the quality of a service comes not through economies of scale, but through the efforts of the one who serves." Brian M., Sandy Spring, MD
